Considering how people can sail around to other seas, and one character blatantly circumnavigates the entire planet (I forget who exactly, might’ve been Light Curse guy). I think the Insanity 5 region of the Dark Sea is solely there for gameplay purposes and the limitations of Roblox’s Engine. Unless you wanna argue that End of Story MC which may or may not become stronger than the Peacekeeper (at least before they get the Absorption Curse) cannot handle the Dark Sea after a certain point.
If you don’t wanna believe any of that. Then the proof lies in people who reached the Epicenter which is literally in Insanity 4 and not 5.
Dark ses is giant to be honest due to scale of map (I doubt you can fit 12k people just in 3 cities with less than 50 buildins)
