What were you doing before bug occurred: Leveling up the fishing fleet task and sinking ships.
Steps to reproduce: Level up the fishing fleet task until your fleet can catch fish that are not yet documented inside of your fishing journal, then proceed to check the fleet log. If the fleet has caught a fish that is not yet present in the journal it will not be added. (Unlike what happens when a castaway gifts you a fish or a deckhand/crew member catches one.)
F9 Logs ( press f9 to view them in-game): Nothing of relevance.

In the video you can see that I have yet to discover a giant northern pike. It does not get added rejoining or after refreshing the journal either.
Hi, this is actually intended. I or someone else did ask about it.
Especially considering the sheer amount of fish you get from fleeting.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

Hi there, thanks for the fast response!
At first I found it a bit strange considering the fact that the fish caught by the fleet mention that they’ve been caught by you when you hover over them, but I understand the reasoning behind the fact that they don’t get added now.
I have another question if you don’t mind: What does the luck effect currently do for fishing?
I remember reading somewhere in a patch note before full release that luck was working on fishing again, but after trying it a few times it doesn’t seem like it effects the rarity of the fish you catch.
It has been confirmed to work with some effect, likely the reroll system associated with current luck.
I don’t think I can describe how effective it is, but it might be calculable. It’s certainly not as effective as the last time it affected fishing.
