Actually , with the new banker NPC you can effortlessly transfer all of your wealth and items to other files. You technically don’t need to have multiple files with fleets as you can just use one to supply everyone else with loot

Eh, gathering the ships and filling up the progress bar of tasks still takes time. And, if not bothering with the fleet at all and living on life support from your more developed file, then what’s the point of playing the game? You got it beaten for you, by you.

I wanna be able to play on other progressed slots without feeling like I’m gutting myself but that will never happen.

Same here, I have a conjurer and a zerker files that are still level 140 - I didn’t join on them since the Full Release dropped, the professions + fleets are a huge time gap to jump across. However, why you of all people are certain the solution will never happen? Come on, we are the community of this game, we are capable of changing things, don’t get your hopes down.

Patrol/Plunder stops giving renown once you hit 250k. It used to give renown past that when it first came out but it was quickly changed

Oh, good to hear. If it is true, of course, and you aren’t just mistaking the PvP toggle off’s renown cap. Check that, please.
