why is the “posts read all time” stat requirement lower than the “posts read” requirement
The “5000 posts read” and “500 topics viewed” requirements are actually “read 15% of posts/topics created in the last 100 days”, but they are capped at 5000 and 500 respectively so the requirements don’t get extremely high. However, they can sometimes be lower than these requirements if the forum isn’t particularly active
Technically if there were a 100 day period where only 10 posts were made a day, the posts read requirements for regular could in theory be 150 posts (i guess that’s why the all time requirement of 500 exists so you’ll always need to have read at least 500 posts)
That’s why sometimes the requirement will be slightly lower than 500/5000, like in the post you quoted the topics read requirement is 482 instead of 500
