I know this is off-topic, but why would anyone be attracted to a monitor’s display of a terrible render of disproportionate low-poly humanoids from a game with an audience primarily composed of children..?
That just has to be a minor degree of perversion if anything, it cannot possibly be sane.
It’s the idea of the character that holds appeal. Nobody actually envisions them as Lego humanoids, hence why virtually all art of the game is of them in the artist’s style of a human. And also why we say that Iris is, say, 4’11” (a hobbit), rather than 4.5 studs.
Also, most of these ‘crushes’ are exaggerated jokes. And even if not, it’s a little bit far to call all of them perverse.

Just found it interesting to read through this and see the general demographic of the forum. I am surprised that there’s a decent amount of queer people on here actually but I’m happy about that because at least I feel slightly less alone. I’m also happy to see fellow aroace spec, neurodivergent, agender, and non-binary people here. Part of me does wonder though, of the cis people on the forum what percentage identifies as male or female considering they make up 76% as according to the poll?

There have been numerous polls asking about peoples’ genders. Throw “gender poll” into the search bar and cross reference one.
Thanks, just did that now. From the polls it seems that male is at least the majority for presumably cis-folk on the forum from about 3 different polls, two had other as an option and one did not (80% male for the one that had only male or female as an option whilst the lowest percentage total in one of the polls was 65% male to 20% female and 15% other). I was expecting for it to be majority male so I’m not too surprised but there’s definitdly a big gap between 65% and 80%. It’s interesting to look at though. (Btw your What Gender Dost Thou Claim? poll was really funny.)

Can confirm. I would recommend not doing what I did, which was spend a week procrastinating
i’m thinking if i should make my mascot archenhailor oc male or female
archenhailor (user) will still identify as she/her though, but archenhailor the (mascot oc) might not

- it doesn’t matter because the oc is a shapeshifter god
