Hello, everyone! The time has come for the first annual four-week ForumCraft! If you remember, I did run ForumCraft already, but it was under a completely different system, and eventually died off. We’re trying to fix that this time! Here’s what you need to know:

  • The server will begin on July 25th 2026 at 7pm BST
  • Forumers, ex-forumers, and any friends or families of forumers are welcome (except a couple blacklisted people)
  • 10,000 border
  • Version will be either Java 26.2 or 26.1, but probably 26.2
  • We’re trying to make it accessible to Bedrock players
  • Bases can be wherever you like
  • Teaming with other players is both allowed and encouraged!
  • July 25th will work like a Day 1, but will be labeled Day 0 to align with the Weeks System
  • From July 25th to August 1st, the server will be on peaceful and everyone will have to be nice to each other. Keep inventory will be on.
  • From August 2nd to August 8th, the server will be upgraded to easy difficulty, keep inventory will be turned off, and minor crimes will be allowed, such as theft and trespassing. Combat is allowed provided both parties consent beforehand.
  • From August 9th to August 15th, the server will be on medium difficulty, and justified violence is now permitted. On August 15th, we will have the End Fight.
  • From August 16th to the server’s end on August 22nd, there will be no real rules except common sense decency, and griefing builds will be heavily discouraged. The server will be on hard.
  • August 22nd will be Doomsday, where the server is set to hardcore and the border shrinks over a span of two hours. The server does not end until only one player lives. This player will receive a very special reward.
  • There will be a modpack but it’s only like two or three mods that don’t affect actual gameplay at all. It’ll be in Modrinth so if anyone doesn’t know how to use that, let me know and I’ll help.
  • You can invite whoever you like, provided you check with me first.
  • We don’t allow cracked.
  • Joining late is fine.

Now for some rules:

  • Recording footage is fine if you want but you have to check with any people who may appear in that.
  • Riptide tridents in combat are not allowed.
  • Elytra in combat are not allowed.
  • No going to the End before the End fight.
  • Maces and spears may not be used with wind charges.
  • No netherite armour or weapons.

Now for the important part - how can you join? Well, simply drop a message here, DM me on the forums, or let me know in some capacity on Discord, and I’ll get through the process of sorting you a place! There’s a Discord which I will send you if you’re interested in joining - you don’t have to be in the Discord but it’d be more convenient. If you do not receive a response, odds are you’re blacklisted.

I’d definitely like to join, but I doubt that I’d have time for it, due to time zones and person life stuff, and also the fact that I’m really bad at Minecraft. So I’ll unfortunately have to give it a pass.

Like the only way that I feel like I’d be able to do anything in the grand finale would be if I built some sort of trap before hand, which I doubt that it’d go unnoticed.

if that’s something you want to do i could always just whitelist you regardless and you can do whatever then? if you do feel tho that you wouldn’t be able to then yea fair enough

This reminds me of this one redstone build that I one time saw where it continuously moves forwards while dropping tnt, and I’m pretty sure that it was such an advanced build that it’d collect all of the drops from the explosions, and then it’d also destroy the bedrock that was left, and it’d essentially open up large patches of void that you could fall into.

So it’d essentially destroy the world, and I’m pretty sure that it used tnt duping in order for it to infinitely run without stopping at all.
