anyways on another note remove npcs 20 levels under yours being able to grab you and make npcs 50 levels under yours being able to parry damage from you. tired of insignificant npcs being able to group together and be absolutely horrid by not dying LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO.

also rework fighting styles to better fit how arcane odyssey’s gameplay works, @Gamehero14 made an insane truth nuke in another post people HAVE TO SEE. its just insanely factual and true and needs to be worked on

In my opinion, the primary issue with Arcane Odyssey’s combat is the fact that close-quarters, skill-based strategies are not viable against NPCs, and spamming from far away is too viable. The player will always default to their most viable option if a fight is looking remotely tough, and said viable option isn’t fun at all; the player isn’t at much risk, nor do they have the option to fish for crazy, risky rewards.
