Forumers you could beat(fight)

Stand proud, you were all strong.

I have my doubts, Vetex works out but I don’t think they’re the biggest forumer, and I’m not talking Caseoh big. No one’s that big.

would be the most devoted

That one forumer that’s built like a Space Marine

Think you’re referring to Vetex himself.

Vetex is built like an imperial guardsman.

I’m sorry but

None of those guns are medieval. They’re all 1600s-1700s

Yeah I don’t think the flintlock mechanism was made in the middle ages

I believe there were matchlock guns in the 15-14th century at earliest but those were slower and dangerous to use compared to flintlock guns so

Guns have EXISTED for a long time, but handheld guns being SAFE and EFFECTIVE has been a more recent development.

i’d also like to add that when a new type of gun mechanism was introduced it was almost never used due to how expensive it would be. It usually took a long time before they were affordable to mass produce

I love how this went from ‘Who could you beat up’ to ‘What guns existed into the medieval era’ lol

Conversations move through somewhat related topics like how thoughts do

this is just the era of pike and shot (1500) tf???

and in all practically crossbows WERE guns, both were highly effective ranged weapons that you could learn in like a couple of hours, which is why they made it into armies so fast

im british so im a master of hand to hand combat (everytime i leave the house i must defend myself from people trying to stab me)

early modern guns are my obsession, if any topic does so much as touch it i’ll speed up the derail

Bow.

(Is this thread just us flexing martial skill at this point?)

Oh, you bastard. One time Dad took my family to some sports place with a candy store so he could buy a gun, and we ended up splitting from him to try a shooting range game. My sisters? At least 10/20 shots hit. They went for more of the far-out shots too.

Me? Zero. Even the ones close to the gun.

Likely weren’t lining up the sights correctly. That or you were anticipating recoil too much (I do this a LOT) and flinched as you fire. My advice is to squeeeeze the trigger to the point where the gun going off is a surprise to you. It’s a hard habit to develop, I grant, but it helps considerably.
