My first Pokémon game was Pokémon Heartgold on the Nintendo DSi, my starter was Cyndiquil, which evolved into Quilava. I never completed the game, but Quilava is my favorite Pokémon from nostalgia alone.
But while Heartgold was my first Pokémon game, my favorite was Mystery Dungeon: Gates to infinity. In that game I chose to play as Oshawatt, which has since become my second favorite. (Also, I LOVE Oshawatt’s design. I know not everyone liked the Unova region, but I think it made some of the best-designed Pokemon).

Unova was one of the better gens imo I don’t get why people hate on it so much
also, for the object-mons argument, just a friendly reminder that they’ve been doing that literally since generation 1.

Yup, it’s just a crap ton of Ice, Earth, Ground and steel types. It doesn’t help that I am a monster hunter and Godzilla fan.

Do it hehe, you probably play more Pokémon in a serious way than I do, my last deck was just tyrnitar, aggron and a bunch of heavy looking Pokémon in brick bronze since Pokémon games costed the same as monthly rent back in the day

Dracovish - Honestly all of the galar fossils were super cool when I first saw them but Dracovish is just that tiny bit extra “elder abomination-like” that makes him stand out
Baxcalibur - Goofy ass cry, incredible stats, great movepool, what else could you want?
Vanilluxe - Okay hear me out I think an ice cream pokemon is actually really cool
Iron bundle - Haha funny robot delibird
Iorn hands - fake out god
Tornadus - A very weird pick, but in all honesty, mono flying is an extremely rare typing, and on top of that, prankster tailwind is just 
so good

Ogerpon - Truly the most loyal pokemon from kitakami, and on top of that, extremely good for VGC
Pecharunt - Okay ngl I kinda had to let this one grow on me but pecharunt is pretty funny

Aegislash - okay lets be real here everyone likes aegislash

darmanitan - Both the galarian and normal formes are really fun to use, and look really cool, especially galarian darmanitan.
Magnezone - I personally think the middle eye is kinda like a sensor thingy.
Sandy shocks - literally just cavemen magnets.
Porygon line - almost forgot about these guys! Digital ducks are cool, and it was pikachus fault for the epilepsy
