Eevee! They are adorable and can evolve into lots of different forms however I find the base form the cutest. Owning one as a pet would be super fun

Well I gotta say, while the game’s overall performance may be lackluster, they definitely did try tons of new things like adding textures to pokemon and whatnot, also they made the story really good tbh, massive upgrade from the slumber party that was sword/shield
The lack of voiceacting (apart from rhyme) isn’t even that awful compared to sw/sh
Favorite nonlegendary is probably Pidove. Was my first ever card (McDonalds promo) and is pretty cute. It was what got me into the series in the first place.
Favorite legendaries are definitely Koraidon and Miraidon. They’re both cool and cute and I love how they actually feel like your partner, as opposed to every other legendary which is a static encounter at the end of the game (or literally given to you for free via Mystery Gift). I played Scarlet first, but I love them both.

tbh i don’t know why people rag on gen 5 for the object mons cause ironically a lot of them are pretty well designed, like Garbodor’s pretty fucking rad and gets way too much hate for just it’s concept and not the somewhat solid design
There are arguably worse designs in Gen 5, I mean come on Swoobat just exists
They act like gen 1 was better because it was all random animal-like shapes and having a theme makes things worse.
At least Trubbish has lore in alola that the government has had to make special dump areas as habitats to prevent Trubbish from going extinct in alola thanks to alolan Grimer/Muk being so good at cleaning up trash.
