So my friend @S0phaD0pha11 recently created a forum account and I’ve been trying to help her get to TL1, but she just messaged me saying that the forums had “frozen” - that is, she could open it, but she couldn’t do anything - not even look at topics. If anyone knows what’s gone on and how to fix it that would be appreciated!
Hmm not too sure, it might just be that the forums just loads slowly on her device. Maybe she can try logging out and relogging in, or try accessing it from another device
she cannot press anything so can’t even get to the log out button, and she has no other devices
i suggested fully close google and restart device and that didnt work
Might not work, but has she tried clearing her caches on the forums? When I switched to Firefox on my PC, the forums stopped loading altogether once until Diva told me to try that.
Just know that clearing caches will probably forcefully log her out of her account, making her log back in.
Is this possible on mobile? Because I’m pretty sure that’s what she’s using
Apparently you can. On iPhones, go to Settings, scroll down to the Apps tab, find Safari from there, then go down until you see this button.
It might be a bit different on other phone types, but I’m pretty sure the general process is the same for all browser apps.
^^^ Also try clearing cookies if that doesn’t already do it.
