Like instinctually, if you had someone grow up in a box would they develop a sense of morality that you would consider good
If yes, morality is an underlaying sense that we all have
If no, morality is dictated by social pressures

Again not really, the legality of something is not the only thing that influences societal perception. Cocaine is way worse than alcohol, it’s a lot harder to justify it. Also a religion like that wouldn’t last, encouraging people to be alcoholics is not at all a sustainable belief so people wouldn’t accept it for long.
