I recall hearing that it’s going to be based on level
However, ancient magics would be restricted to pure mage builds
this would mean that non-mages could get it
that’s a big nono

Lost Magics will be obtained from Hecate Shards, and Ancient Magics can only be found through individual spell scrolls.
This happens so often when trello stuff gets sent for me
Also i thought both would be obtained from hecate shards, but ancient magics are incapable of using basic spells (like blast/beam)

It says “sea-based activites” for both Hecate Shards, and the rare Ancient Magic Spell scrolls.
Basically LVL ~300 for Lost Magics, LVL ~450 for Ancient Magics. Need Hecate Shards for Lost Magics, and Ancient magics have no creatable skills so you need to find extremely rare Spell scrolls.
seeing the direction roblox is heading, do you think it will survive enough to see AO release lost magics?

Against all odds, roblox is miraculously saved, but then vetex loses motivation completely and AO is abandoned right as the lost magic update is about to arrive
The “Final Update” being the end of the game’s storyline is never going to happen.
Most likely, I see us finishing up the Nimbus Sea and getting started on the Keraxe Sea before Roblox makes the game completely non-viable.
I absolutely will not be able to be trusted at the wheel I don’t have the attention span for that.

hopeful doomerism roblox isn’t going to die, if they’re going to not budge from thousands of lawsuits, tens of billions in market losses, rampant predator problems, gambling etc they’re not gonna budge for years and more years, only thing that would even see roblox change would be a full on ban in first world countries such as the UK or United States, other than that they won’t lift a finger and much less won’t disband or die out
i doubt roblox is going to die off, its the most popular gaming platform run by a multi-billion dollar corporation
additionally they’re lobbying with trump[1] to pass a bill that makes it impossible for victims to seek justice against roblox and taking away the power of attorney generals to sue them, but rather leave all enforcement to the FTC whose leadership is appointed by trump himself[2]

I believe that’s due to those drivers being reckless and sometimes even peer pressured by their friends to speed.
