Fruitless Love

HEHE POEM
Hi yes remember when I used to write poetry here? No? Me neither lmao it’s been too long. Anyways here:

Spiteful eyes stare at their souls,
seeing what you’ll seldom find.
Something never in your control,
as love forever blinds.

Refused fate to keep pursuing,
a fruitless self-made supremacy.
Jealousy plagues your undoing,
as wrath shall be your legacy.

(for context this is about the myth of Apollo and Hyacinthus, in some versions of the myth Zephyrus kills Hyacinthus out of a jealous rage after seeing the two together.)

my glassless ass really thought it said “Fatherless Love”, don’t really have any criticism, I’ve never really been into poetry.

Searched these two up and found out they’re gay

I mean it isn’t really surprising since it’s ancient greece
