canonical explanation (from me lmao this is a guess): this is probably like imbuing magic onto weapons permanently in a very thin manner, it can be done with any magic but is very difficult to master; since its a very pure form of magic. i doubt that even masters of it like enizor can really do much to get a specific enchantment since who the hell knows how “pure magic” works. maybe this is the breakthrough enizor was talking about, harnessing pure magic or figuring out how to get the exact enchantment a person might want
