Hey guys, so for a while now, we’ve known that full release would provide us with a level increase allowing us to reach beyond lvl165, that’s at least 330 stat points for full builds, and 198 for hybrids. What has astonished me about this is that we have gotten a bunch of teasers and reveals (thank you dev team), which all look really cool. What could the problem be then you might ask ? Well the highest stat requirement we’ve gotten for a magic addition is hasta at 240 stat points, for strength, it’s 120 for the new styles, and vitality’s doing a little better at 260. If you still don’t see what the problem is, let me put it this way:
330 - 260 > 260 - 198
By all means, I do not want to be that guy, you know that guy, the one who’s criticising stuff that’s not even out. Thing is however, while looking for classes to build in full release, I realised I’d never actually given mage any time, despite it seeming really fun to play with. I started theorising on what my spell loadout would be, and realised that, the 90 last points I’d be spending on my magic stat would not unlock anything. Once again, I am not here to criticise the devs’ work, just wondering, since, as of empires, we’re not even halfway to lost magics, that mages are probably only gonna have access to low tier arcanium weapons due to not investing in the weapon stat, what is gonna reward a mage player, if a level 200 hybrid maxing magic can do just as much as he can. I probably lack insight into the plans for full release, but I’m generally clueless as to the way that’s gonna work. I also do realise that techniques, for instance, are still very much in the works, but we have gotten a lot of rare spells already, and it wouldn’t astonish me if that was to be all we’d get for magic in full release. Lastly, I’d like to emphasise that this problem will likely be long lasting, as the difference between full builds and hybrids’ max stat investments is going to increase with levels.Feel free to give me your wisdom about this game, at least respectfully so.
