Not gonna lie, at the rate we’re going in the past few weeks, I don’t think the update will come in July or August. Not to mention there’s a lot of reworked stuff and new features that are planned for full release.
Full Release might actually come after Silksong.

After skyhall, nothing should take as LONG as skyhall did. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still expecting a mid-late summer release, but after skyhall is done there’s a lot of other things to be done, just nothing as big.

That’s what I thought too but considering there’s a ton of features being planned and some being reworked, as well as testing to make sure full release has as little bugs as possible, I’m kinda having doubts with mid-late summer prediction.
There’s even the possibility of Vetex thinking of new features to add into full release if he isn’t satisfied yet.

Uhhhh that’s not how it works, he wants full release to feel “complete” with all the necessary features to be ready. If he splits it into parts now, it would just cause another discord lockdown not gonna lie.
At the rate we’re progressing in the full release update, it doesn’t seem likely that we’ll have it by July. Also for clarification, most people seem to misunderstand what Vetex meant by “less than 7 months”.
This line meant that at minimum, the update would take 7 months, and considering a lot of the important features aren’t even completed yet, some of the reworks haven’t been done, and to add onto testing on making sure full release would have as little bug as possible (Which means the game would probably be on private for around two weeks), the July or August prediction is giving me some doubts.
I’m hopeful it comes early though since I would 100% have no free time after this year ends since I’ll be busy with jobs and adulting. I want to at least experience the polished odyssey before I go .

full release started in october, since then its been like 5 months and now were crossing into april so its going to be out by may or june
and skyhall is the largest thing thats going to be added, chapter 9 and 10 if we get them will take like a month to make
vetex said 9 would be short and 10 would be medium length
I just don’t think it’s very likely that all of these things, plus 2 more chapters of story (which vetex said will be fairly cutscene-heavy) and 3 story bosses, can be ready in 2 months:
vetex if you can hear us, cut the update into 2 or 3 parts please
(release what we have now in may and then release chapter 9 and 10 as individual updates and then continue with story)
