Assuming that full release is going to increase the level cap to 200, leaving us with 120 more points to use, which of these two would you guys think is a better allocation for a pve savant? (don’t question it)
Currently I have 120 magic, 110 vitality/spirit, 50 weapons (regenvant pve slaps)
I’d like to get aura and stick with high spirit so i can use the new weapons so either
150 magic, 100 spirit, 150 weapons (150 magic gives me javelin and aura, very good spells, 100 vitality gives me upwards of 3 skills per spirit weapon, 150 weapons lets me use a lot of the higher tier weapons including stormcaller which is great in pve because of the storm of arrows and rain of arrows combo)
OR
150 magic, 100 spirit, 50 weapons, 100 strength
I do want to go 4 way savant but strength isn’t the best for PVE, may only use in close combat scenarios like ship fights, and im fine with sticking with rusty claws/branch bow/dual old flintlocks because atm they still have the good skills for pve (quickdraw and rain of arrows, beast instinct and primal swipe, rapid fire)
im leaning more towards the first option mostly for drip purposes (who knew that a branch with a rope and rusty finger spikes weren’t drippy! ) and i may incorporate strength later on maybe when theres more fighting styles (one that may actually be okay for pve hopefully) but just wanted to hear thoughts and opinions on this
You could always go 160 weapons for Sword-Step and get a great mobility move…
Anyways, first one is better, you wouldn’t get much out of 50 strength- so you’re sacrifing weapons (practically your main tools as a Savant)… for 1 ability. Also, min in one stat is 56… you wouldn’t even get the ability to use strength imbues (of which you only have basic and canon, but hey?)
If it gets to 200 I’ll probs go 70Spirit 100 Magic 115 Strength and 115 weapons which is just enough spirit to use it for imbuement and also use the second set of rite on both eagle patrimony and Tidestone band plenty of magic to use some decent spells and strength for some techniques I’m especially excited to use breathtaker and then 115 str/weapon will allow me to use flying slash on the Apex Greatsword however these stats could change if arcanium weapons will be added in full release however there hasn’t really been any decent info on them in a while so idk
interesting, ill probably just wait to see what all the new things are in full release because i completely forgot about the new strength weapons and strength weapons in general, which may make me reconsider not using strength
