It can be.

Getting tools like shovels without having them occupy a hotbar spot is nice. Trying to get single-use things like charts and sea charts is way less convenient though. Overall its a net neutral.

Major fighting style rework. I’m kinda digging it. Trying to push fighting styles to actually play in melee range, and also rewarding them.

This entire thing was designed to make berserker actually fun in pve. Though the massively reduced damage at a range might make it so fighting styles are really easily kited by everyone else. Wonder if the stun will work on bosses though, because bosses were like, the #1 killer of berserker players in pve.

If fs is 80% slow down then paralyzed and frozen should be buffed since they are only 50%

NPCs in general seem to decimate anyone running berserker, hopefully the stun works on bosses as they are really painful to fight when 90% of your kit forces you to be in danger

I really like the idea of finishers. It’d be cool if each fighting style has a unique one.

Though,

I think it’ll be fine. I haven’t tested with poise yet since it isn’t out, but I’m pretty sure its supposed to be a rare reward to aim for, something that pushes fighting style users to stay close range. Like, people will chase the idea of poise enough that it’ll focus fighting styles into a certain kind of ‘close range play’, but the actual poise break stun won’t happen often.

on my life a little bird told vet that stuns and fighting styles are what i struggle against, and this BUM adds this shit the next day :sob:
im gonna start kicking zerkers and warlocks from my elys if warrior doesn’t get equivalent buffs to this shit because what the actual FUCK it’s gonna be the worst class by a mile
