New lost technique idea: Improvement
Requires 80 strength to use.
Upon use, Improvement will reset all of the player’s stats instantly, and also lock them out of investing from strength indefinitely.

Enchantment requires 220, Conjure Elemental requires 320, and Crescendo requires 300. So we can except strength to get at least two more lost techniques, and magic to get at least one more lost spell.

FUN FACT, ALSO! This update has added 8 new spell types so far. That’s the same number of spells as there are spell slots. Finally, scrolls can fulfill their intended purpose and we should be seeing all sorts of different people using all sorts of different spell types.

I really hope the level cap goes to 185… I NEED my Blitz and Breathtaker :sob:

wouldnt that mean most of strength moveset wont work agaisnt bosses?

Well I guess making grabs work on bosses would be needed yeah

Honestly I wish we got more strength moves that played off of it technically being an aura

Like a move I’ve been thinking about is a sort of weaker shot esque move that puts a slight aura on the enemy + a tether between the player and the enemy. The user could then recast the move and either pull the enemy towards them or pull themself towards the enemy.

you guys arent ready for spells

They have every fighting and martial arts game, anime, and movie ever to take inspiration from though. Speaking of should I stop being lazy and sit down and propose like 5 to 15 new technique ideas in suggestions? Been addicted to Rimworld lately so I haven’t been here much.

Already got some ideas on some areas that techniques haven’t touched yet like denial mechanics, counters, and defensive techniques. One to do with inner peace.

I feel like it comes down to bias as galga said in patreon chat they have a bias towards spells since they can visualize them,

I’m about to describe some techniques so vividly it’s gonna open your third eye then.

i don’t actually know what the avatar update is but i do know that in studio there’s a new way to edit avatar settings which is really annoying because i have no idea what they changed and it bugs me about it every time i try to leave the place. whatever roblox is back at it again ig

ig if you get autobanned from tu it shouldn’t stop you from testing until the bug resolves. place ids, as many of you probably already know, are the unique identifiers that roblox assigns to instances of a game (like the bronze/nimbus seas, elysium, title screen) so

This could be a way to give strength builds at least some range considering the changes to how fighting styles work. Like the more ranged variant could do less poise than the tower variant for example.

Knowing how Technologically advanced Thorne empire are, this is far more possible

revolvers are already concepts within the Thorne Empire; I think they can be long into lever-actions now
