Full Release Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread) (Part 2)

I already corrected myself after holy shit hop off bro :sob:

You’re grasping at straws

I’m tempted to say Toymaker isle

i wasn’t talking to you buddy, mr @Icy asked a quesiton which I answered and u brung ur ugly face back in the conversation

Asking a question about a discussion happening between me and you bro

What are you even on abt at this point :sob:

because you started saying false things, again when I wasn’t even talking to you anymore, kinda pathetic ngl

Can y’all take your beef to dms before divanochi has an aneurysm?

I precisely wasn’t even talking to him :sob: He started acting like a 3 year old again for some reaosn

Lets just move on to actual patch notes discussion, this is going nowhere and I’m tired of this whining

This is a pretty good QoL. It gets really annoying spawning in a sea I don’t want to be in + it future proofs the game for when there’s more than just two seas.

I’ve sneezed more comprehensible arguments than that.

Anyway imagine not already having your reagent pots filled

Not a bad question at all! There is some meaning behind it, for sure, but overall I just wanted the Dark Sea’s music to have a rustic feel, so most of the instruments and loops were chosen with that in mind.

I really like what you’re theorizing on though.

are we allowed to know the meanings or no

also the extended track on spotify of “brought to insanity” will it ever be brought ingame or is the extended version for even much higher levels of atlanteans

The meaning ties into the idea that Atlanteans were once human before transforming into Atlanteans. That transformation and loss of humanity is what I was trying to represent with the piece.

I originally proposed it to Vet for Halbjorn, but since Peppermint is handling music for AO now, it’ll probably remain a Spotify exclusive unless Vet reaches out. Same goes for any tracks I make moving forward.

alright sounds good thanks

It might be better if it worked off the sea’s that you’ve found instead of story progression. I’ve seen plenty of people that have gone to the Nimbus sea despite being under level 119, and tying sea-exploration to story progression doesn’t sound all too sane for an open-world MMO.

If it wasn’t story progression tied then people would probably be able to go to the nimbus sea immediately while being level 40

i think it would be really cool if the ambient music had a chance to play immediately after a dark sea combat theme (either brought to insanity or the ship combat)

would kind of make the music impactful in a way like minecraft’s music kind of is where a lot of mc is just ambience but the music accents what youre doing whenever it comes up

Counterargument: i have patreon :face_with_hand_over_mouth: i’m pretty sure that’s snowriven

I’m gonna look really stupid if that’s actually toymaker isle (someone confirm it’s not pls)

It’s snowriven

What does this mean?
