Full Release Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread) (Part 2)

this would once again make energy increasing actually be irrelevant (since then the increased energy capacity wouldn’t matter because everything would scale based off a %). I think it makes sense that the stronger you get (re: the more energy you can use), the more tired you can get and the more you’ll have to eat. You’d probably be burning a lot more calories if you can jump to the 10th floor of a skyscraper as opposed to someone that can only make it to the 2nd floor (lmao twink ass jump)

Honestly? I think this could be a neat change.

  • Fuck the hunger bar; it’s more worthless than my skin’s ability to not die when the season changes.
  • Energy Conservation is no longer a key part of combat, and while it may sting a little, it will make PvP easier to get into from my perspective. It’ll also help prevent those moments in which I’m spamming the keybind for the attack I want to use only for nothing to happen because I’m an idiot who doesn’t notice my Energy Bar being lower than the number in my nonexistent bank account.
  • We can finally place large meals without full health, which is best described as the Developer’s Barely-Disguised Blessing.
  • Saturation might be the only thing I’m wary of with this change; I know how PvP Heads roll (Source: I actively try to have them gravitate toward me through high renown), and I can guarantee that they’ll cook meals with asinine Energy values (weird, it isn’t hunger values anymore?) to gain Saturation Health. Basically makes them like pre-F.R. Vitality builds, but with the benefits of a pure build.
    • HOWEVER, Saturation does have the positives of being great for PvE players, since NPCs will still be at insane levels compared to us, as well as being extremely useful in Dark Sea runs, where Zeus can decide to end his bloodline on a whim.
  • Charging is kept, which is neat, because the effects are pretty cool (well, mainly for Magic). It’s also kind of cool to see the old Flaunting idea from World of Magic be brought back in a naming sort of sense.

Oh, and also…

I fear no man, but that thing… It scares me.

I’m guessing that’s with a Golden Sky Pumpkin, Golden Omprela Mushroom, and a Golden Giant Banana/Lemon? All with the Samerian Ice and Gilded Modifier, of course.

wha huh

Can you drop an image Warmwater

You know, the American milkshake

this begs the question

would cooking player profession be the most braindead system in AO if it releases

A profession that could possibly buff food? Yeah it would be a little goated

vetex should keep charging btw and make it so charging steals your hunger and makes it drain faster if you’re charging

He might be talking about the smoothie I made. I’ll link it here.

I’ll make another one when Full Release drops. I’m sure you’ll be able to get it muuuuch higher. Maybe even in the 3000 range I hope?

The nefarious purple pumpkin:

The grimace shake 2.0 will be real

YOU! I FEAR YOU!!!

Also, add that to the list of AO-related things that I’ve managed to blindly guess.

3 golden sky pumpkins 1 golden wheat and a golden cauldron, I SUMMON YOU!

Chug one of those bad boys like this before going into combat:
