If you have 300 energy left, and start spam eating apples because you wanna get it to max, you have to stop once fullness fills. You can go OVER the limit, but once you eat 100, theres an ‘eating cooldown’.
The balance hope though is you can do a lotta fights without having to worry about eating back to full. And if you stay on top of it energy is basically consistently full and you get bonus health.
I wonder how this will change cooking as a skill though because cooking is now, quite literally, the most important stat skill to have on hand. Not to mention the stat buffs already given by meals will likely become more apparent in combat, which makes me wonder how this will affect tournaments and such.
Okay, what if instead of eating several apples, you start eating one meal that puts you over 100 fullness? Do you have to wait before eating another part of the same meal?
You’ll probably be able to eat the full meal still tbh. It functions that way in game right now and I doubt that was changed when transferring this from food to energy.
Instead of cementing food as the out of combat version of potions, they’ve decided to make it a necessity.
I think this is an improvement for the hunger system, but a downgrade for Energy. So I’m okay with it, it’s not like it got worse.
I’m wondering, why is it that they removed charging in-battle for being outdated, but now you’re expected to start eating a fish dinner mid-battle to restore energy?
Why is this food restoring my magical capabilities exactly?
btw I thought that charging really dynamic especially for ultimate arts, but I’d also like to see a world where I can basically ult freely without my concern being charge time.
Shouldn’t food benefit scale with energy cap though? Because that would mean that everyone progressively gets hungrier with power, which is not established. At level 140 you’d be eating 660 food points, which is like, 80ish green apples?
I wonder, since Energy Regeneration gems have been reworked into Energy Efficiency, will the potion do the same, only much stronger (such as E.Efficiency 5 potions making your attacks basically drain NO energy for the duration?)
probably
if they both did the same thing that is now being reworked i wouldn’t guess the rework would only apply to one of those things, especially if the un-reworked version just doesn’t make work with the system anymore
