because, again, having a entire gear stat not work in combat (which is what gear stats are for, jewel substats are more out of combat or specific things so agility fits in nicely with them) is a stupid idea that would make every item that has agility automatically either useless or much worse then it already is
oh yeah thatâs true i didnât think of it like that
Kinda have mixed feelings for this, but Iâll have to see this play out first
I would hate agility if it was a jewel substat that gets disabled in combat.
one moment youâre zooming around, and you instantly turn into a snail because some stray blast from some random npc hit you.
having to switch between between good speed and suddenly being extremely slow will just make the game feel so much more clunky
(this is less of an issue with swim speed, because youâre not constantly swimming around, so you wouldnât get used to such fast movement)
Now, if Vetex had the balls to admit separate player and NPC combat tags are a good idea, that would change things a lot
But nooooooo
Do not show this build to pvpers. They will have PTSD.
I sense a very strong WoM vibe here for absolutely no reason
It seems like parts of the Juraserva questline are planned for Full release since bosses like Hallbjorn and Leviathan are being worked on. If itâs only a portion of the questline, Iâd say Ormolu or King Caesar is where the questline stops
Ormolu and King Caesar are in the Full Release checklist. Itâs not a guarantee that theyâll be added by the time the update drops, but itâs likely.
Oh, and the Nimbus Sea Side Boss is Mizeria, if you werenât aware.
Source!?!?!?
Source: Shieldguard, find the Navy Major in the Mess Hall; you can talk to him regardless of renown.
Was about to think it might actually be the Banished King in Makrinaos, but the allusion on the Trello uses She/Her, which is the same as the Navy Major, last time I checked.
all the juraserva ones will be for sure
besides we still have months to go
Speaking of Ormolu, do yâall think that there will be some more NPCs added to Cirrus that bring it up?
If they do that, then itâd be a nice touch
even something like âHey, have you heard that old rumor? that one about the monster that lurks in the stepstones?â would add to it
it could also help to hint at it for newbies
anti agility player try not to exaggerate: impossible
as someone whoâs used high agility builds plenty, i can say im GLAD its getting removed.
They arenât fair.
in arena they are pretty fair, they just need to remove itâs ability to run away and there is so many better ways to do that
Itâs almost as if the problem is the act of running; A power only available in world PVP. Surely agility must be removed to prevent fleeing when itâs an option available at all time in world PVP, it makes a lot of sense
The issues with two jewel substats not working in combat are:
- There is no information regarding which works and doesnât work in-game until you experience it yourself to your own loss
- People would rather go for jewel substats that are always active as itâs a better investment that still influences PVP, albeit to a lesser degree.
- although said lesser degree can vary, examples of this are blocking and energy jewels both being incredibly powerful in PVP
- who would have thought that a stat remains a stat no matter what you earn it from, this is mind-blowing
