Plot twist: the whole technique is player just yelling ā€œGreatburst!ā€ or ā€œAftershock!ā€
No attack, no effects, nothing but a way to quickly and conveniently compliment your friends’ jumps

Does cremation count?

That is also true

Ping vetex and tell him u wanna relationship I’m sure he’ll be ecstatic to hear that
(The rules require me to tell you not to actually do that as that is a bannable offense)

not one is an actual new patch note

I feel like this wouldn’t be as much of an issue if they went more off of Strength being an ā€œauraā€ and based more attacks around it. They kind of did this with the counter skill they made since it has a projectile version to it. They could probably make some other skills aura based to allow some more flexibility in making strength skills.

The feeling when 9 replies in RFAO and zero are patch notes..,

just like the good old days

Since we aren’t getting many patches right now, I would like to open up discussion on the new potions we’re getting (as a self proclaimed potion connoisseur myself).

Starting off with the infused dagger, I think it’s going to be an interesting option for every build to use. While the potion effect being limited to tier 1 may seem subpar, being able to have an effect applied to every attack is incredibly useful even considering the base hp cost it has. I’m personally interested in using slowness blood disease on my spirit build for some form of speed control.

For grease, while I am pretty excited to use it as a conjurer main, there’s still some things that I have questions about. For one, if applying a bleeding grease onto a weapon, would it give the weapon severe bleeding or would it just result in two stacks of bleed? And if I were to, say, put a freezing/snowy grease on a sunken weapon or water imbue weapon, would it instantly turn any statuses into frozen? Regardless, I think this is going to be a very interesting option for weapon builds to have (and potentially spirit if it works on spirit weapons but probably not). I’ll probably find some useful combinations on my water conjurer slot (Likely with stuns lmao).

Lastly with physick, while I do agree with most people that it feels subpar, I still think it’ll have its moments. It definitely seems more inclined to PvE as a boss prep potion, but it might also work generally to reduce bleeding in more devastating moments especially against weapon builds. I’ll probably end up carrying some amount of bleeding physick just so I have a bit better chances against weapon npcs and don’t end up dying so quickly to limb loss.

I really hope we do end up getting more potions this update, as I feel like they’re currently pretty underrated as another option to enhancing one’s builds outside of gels and healing potions. Though, I do believe that other parts of this update are going to make old potions more sought after, such as energizing potions and accuracy potions.

lorewise i think it’d be more thematic if strength was one’s own willpower / resolve, rather than their own mind or energy for magic (or basically, just trace magic)

Lord Vetex wills it himself

I’m guessing aftershock is either basically divergent fist, or is a very high range shockwave that only strikes opponents standing on the ground, like Hoarah Loux’s ground attacks.

Honestly a lot of his attacks would be good inspiration for future techniques, in my opinion.

If it’s like divergent fist then it’d be very op with powder fist which already has a double hit
