this bug was caused by a marketplace exploit, and not a datastore exploit. no one knows exactly what went wrong with the marketplace, but its a rather complicated system that utilizes external servers, so
i do think that there should’ve been some stronger anticheat measures in place, but there were some and the exploiters bypassed all of them, so there isn’t really a whole lot that could’ve been done after it happened. and no a rollback isnt a feasible option because it would take like 5000 years to rollback every single data entry and god knows something else is going to go wrong during that process

Not sure when this happened, but the GN receptionist dialogue was changed to say the GN formed a hundred years ago instead of twenty years ago like it used to.

I 100% agree with the fact that yes, it IS a marketplace exploit, but vetex LOVES to blame Roblox for his/headless’ problems and I’m going based on the fact that he said it was a “data store exploit” (in the image I sent below). I’m pretty tired of the fact he just lies to his community like it’s Roblox’s fault and I wanted to call it out
