Full Release Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread)

jesse what the fuck is this

Average hecate hunt on full release

Percentage damage into water poisoning oooo that combo was cold

Water poisoning + limb loss from atlantean + % base damage of bears + tripple ancient lightning + Hecate on a tree

Apparently the AO MC didn’t want to eat cooked meat, but raw meat was fine.
Mortars (idk if this was posted earlier)
Far Reaches bears are apparently edible. This implies that we can, in theory, eat Atlanteans.

@Mirage YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!

Were we not supposed to be eating atlanteans yet

Bold of you to assume the limb loss wont be from the bears

=

time is a circle and it always leads to eating these guys :skull:

What’s the level cap of gear from far reaches animals gonna be?

Given that the Far Reaches are late-game, they’ll probably hit Level 600.

So death bears on steroids. Good luck to people trying to find Hecates

My hunger can only be satiated with flesh that was marinated in dark sea sauce

Does invis potion work on them and can they climb/high jump

Invis pots were made to not work on normal atlanteans so I assume they don’t work for the bears

Actually… i haven’t tested this. I can’t tell you all the answer but i am going to find it myself

Atlanteans and Sirens can see you through invis…

Just perfect time to release item that spawns in far reaches, am i right?

The invisibility nerf was desperately needed. The entire point of the dark sea is balancing risk taking and greed. Invis potions deleted any challenge that came from it.

It’s like having a rougelike game, except you could turn off any challenge or enemy encounters and just walk from room to room collecting rewards.

Its unfortunate hecate hunts were caught in the crossfire, but the basic gameplay of the Dark Sea would be dead without it.

Veruy interesting.

So Nilah’s curse is exactly what I’ve been saying it is.
And Oak Island is not real, wake up.
