Unless there was a way for illegal acrimonies to not have a level requirement (as you’ve stated), vetex could have done something similar to the weapon level change.
That or remake the item framework to allow this, something which may or may not be helpful in the future all while preventing community backlash, idk.

Heh, you should have played while exploited acrimonies were a thing in order to abuse them instead of playing as intended, not purchasing illegal acrimonies, or simply not playing the game. Skill issue + easy ban.
Absolutely no mortar fix 
rip people with legitimate acrimonies, but I get why Vetex had to. From what’s been said there really wasn’t any other way around this. I don’t know if the current compensation will be enough for some people, and maybe Vetex will add more to the compensation, but at least there’s something for the people with interchange pots for the reason of actually using them.
Can’t wait for exploiters to find another way to dupe acrimony’s in a week
On the bright side berserker will have access to ultimate art rush down, so that might be cool.
Says nothing about the level cap going up yet.
The story progresses that is often tied to level cap increases, but I guess it doesn’t directly say.

Say someone has 5 legit acriomnies, that’s 10 stat resets…And they get 1 stat reset, and that if we consider they used free ones from last updates. I mean, if they would accept videos of people showing their acrimonies and saying that they legitematly got it (another under 20 is not suspicious as if you will just grind chests, i think you will be able to grind 20 is like…what…~500 hours? Maybe ~200), but im sure they wont do it for same reason as weapon wipe.
Even tho you have video - its not enough to confirm legitemacy.

Acrimonies:
i have 2 acrimonies and i still have my free stat reset from 2023, i gain nothing from this and lose my acrimonies
ill cope, i never used them anyway because im a loyalist to my build, but this sucks
