whirlwind is an aoe spin move, not a slash in front of your character
flash strike is a teleport and slash behind your character.
I meant just a plain slash in front of your character, that isn’t a projectile, and your character doesn’t move forward or back that much

And before that, we got “just a slash in front of your character” with fighting styles (sort of? technically???).

Selino came first, then Astrapikis, then Towering Impact shortly after. I wonder if magic is ever getting an equivalent.

It has to be a static, unmoving slash in front of your character, not a flying projectile. At least I think that’s the rules we’re going off of, since Iris didn’t count Flying Slash as one of these.

Mages, as biased as Vetex is toward them, have self explosion, which is functionally the same, but omnidirectional.

No way. That is a HUGE change that completely alters how it feels to use and play with, AND it’s not a slash either. In no way does that count.
