Alright so, most of spirit as a stat consists of magic & weapon abilitities…
tf is the point or running these stats at the same time then?

I’ve noticed people have been replying to each other in RFAO a lot lately. It’s getting a little annoying. When I see a notification for that thread I wanna know it’s an actual update.

Imbuement synergies

Remember, not all spirit weapons correlate to a magic element. They’re dependant on the god.

The Staff of Night’s visuals are uniquely Nyx’s power. Beyond having Shadow’s synergies, it isn’t comparable to any magic element.

Where is the thing

I’ve stopped expecting it to be revealed until after Skyhall is fully built. Saves me some disappointment.

Weapons and magic have their skills more easily accessible to them, considering spirit weapons are mostly obtained solely from bosses while weapons can be bought almost everywhere and found almost everywhere and while magic gains more attacks constantly. Not to mention that they together get more different synergies than spirit weapons can overall.

we have 3 spirit items, one is a necklace, the other is a staff, and the final one we know of is some Aether ball.

Spirit items are too vague to do this with. We can probably just swap them at will between whatever relic…

are we looking at the same rites here?

it would most likely be based off of what god created it rather than weapon type.

I don’t think the shape of the spirit weapon would have to be based off of the god that grants it its power
I guess the eagle patrimony kinda does, but that could just be coincidence (or the god’s ego)

I think thats too limiting: I at most expect each god to get 1-3 spirit items so that we’ll have several imbuement options, like, there are only so many unique imbuements you can give to a Zeus based item; unlike how we’ll probably have around 10 of every weapon type. that seems like too many rites that wont really be moveable.

maybe based on the type of god?

primordials can swap rites wth other primordials, olympians with olympians, etc.

edit: i worded this pretty poorly; i meant that there will be too many basic rites stuck between so few weapons, unless we get a lot of repetition on our god choices.
