Iām not responding to the other points because they are quite literally irrelevent to the change; stuff like blocking power from gems by itself has never been an issue (and likely never will be).
But sure, iāll go and respond to the points:
This change would essentially just make the war shield a copy paste of the Iron Shield; its suppose to be a higher level weapon used by classes that can also use the moves on the weapon, hence the change.
Shields with higher blocking power also take more damage per-hit (shields take the damage they block, and then remove it directly from the durability of the shield) This is also why shields with higher blocking power generally have a higher durability, since the actual durability drains much faster.
If you want to speak about the enchants, we can. The only enchant (tier 2) thatās actually worth running on a shield is reinforced, since it reduces the amount of damage the shield takes, while also increasing the durability by 45%, but it also reduces the blocking power by 0.1x. On the other hand, you can use armored, which DECREASES the durability by 33%, and increases the blocking power by 0.2x. Overall, armored makes the shield break a lot faster.
This change is pointless, since you would effectively be better off using a shield that is on-level (shocker, almost like the change that was added does basically this)

Agreed, except if youāre running high agility, you actually can! With a high agility high blocking power set, you can effectively turtle strat, and then run away until the shield regens.

The only thing that the change did, was prevent classes from using something that they honestly never should have been able to use from the start, given that itās outside of their stat point range.

but the problem is that the warshield gives too much power (well blocking power) right, bc if the warshield was a bad shield then nobody would complain that hybrids can use it, even then if u run 2 weps with all the stuff u need for dmg (like grabs, tp, range abilities) then u can still run the shield, itās the same problem, it literally fixed nothing, instead it just made hybrids unable to use it

This is mainly just a nerf to using atlantean shield and ravenna war shield use on non weapon builds since those both would now require 200 weapon stat to use.
I think my main issue is that this pretty much disproportionately affects most hybrid weapon builds compared to the ones that would actually abuse it like savant. If regular weapon hybrids wanted to use the ravenna war shield it would take them until level 168 at the earliest, 200 if theyāre going for equal weapon/other stat req and 250 at the absolute latest, and this isnāt assuming how long it may take for savant.
This also isnāt assuming how this could affect future shields with much higher weapon requirements (such as the next set of higher requirement weapons coming this update), as it could completely bar hybrids from using the best available shields until a much higher level cap.
I may be wrong about this though since I donāt generally use shields for the most part
Are you retarded? The weapon quite literally is unchanged EXCEPT for on classes that arenāt even suppose to be using them at their level, as seen by the fact they cant even use the first skill on the weapon.
Iām not even going to bother adressing any of the other ramble points you said aswell, since thereās no point. Once savants actually unlock the first skill on the shield, theyāll be able to use it, and that goes for all other classes too.

the only people with a use for the shield cant use it anymore till later when there are gonna be better shields, so yes it got nerfed bc the only usage it had its no longer here
