Full Release Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread)

damn my hallucinations were just on point that day

The change has literally nothing to do with destruction.

literally terrain details don’t even get in the way of digging.

You don’t need to destroy them or risk destroying the terrain.

tangentially, I just recently found even though you can mark the bushes on Thyrlos Crossing digging in them (while it doesn’t mark the actual plate you’re digging in under it) still counts for digging that plate and not the bush. Saves a lot of time on thrylos charts when you know this

I don’t like how people claim to not be vetex haters then criticise in honestly quite abrasive ways. Polite criticism is always an option.

nah the harsh criticism is warranted, vetex makes some mind baffling decisions sometimes then look at the balance team with a straight face as he refuses to spend 2 minutes tweaking some variable number that would make an aspect of the game 10 times more enjoyable

Despite being harsh, I do think he has reason behind his rant

Vetex himself said he wanted to leave the game in a good state before going for the next update, but he left most replayability factors with flaws that can make the experience bad or worse

Yeah vetex really needs to

  1. Lock in on replayability, this is a game not a visual novel, consistent new activities take priority over the story.
2 listen to the community about shitty features, gameplay > lore ALWAYS. Modifiers, Hecate Essences, and sunkens (despite how classic and cool they are) are all examples of this issue
  2. Optimize, game runs like shit, not much I can give in terms of advice but still

Im not gonna reply my comments to your comment because then the entire train would be derailed

Sunkens are rare on purpose, that’s the fun of it.
Granted, they don’t have very niche purposes like Losts do, but it’s too late for that.
The only exception is the weapons, which you can just use something else in place of, there’s nothing special about them.

If you get a sunken, lucky you, you have defense armor.

I shouldn’t hammer that home too hard, though. My build has 900 defense, and couldn’t without sunkens.

Oh wait, this probably comes off as the “agenda” huh?

Ok Mr I enjoy grinding treasures charts for modifiers

honestly i disagree, harsh criticism isnt hateful, there is a difference between harsh criticism and hating, u cant have both
