Not necessarily, you could just pretend that you woke up in dawn island while being older than 18. Nobody ever mentions your age in dialogue iirc
But say you want to flex to another player how experienced you are in the game, you could say you have 1500 hours (immersion breaking), or you could say you are 30 years old.
Yes it does, immersion is tied to your own perception. The fact that the player wakes up at 18 years old is, at least in my case, a very easy to ignore fact since Itâs something you are only told once and never again. Aside from that, itâs completely plausible to think that the character just woke up at (your current player age) minus the time that actually passed during the story.
Just act confused whenever someone says something immersion breaking, or go âI think youâve spent too much time sailing in the dark sea broâ
On that topic, Ruby Rogers states that he last saw you one or two weeks ago at sailorâs lodge in his nimbus sea encounter, despite it taking place after being locked for more than a month in the eternal mines.
Of course, the event flag that makes Rogers spawn in the nimbus sea might take place before the eternal mines, but I highly doubt it considering that youâre only meant to head to the nimbus sea after completing the bronze seaâs story.
