What do you even consider high level PvP-? Also that’s… just dash-catching. You’re supposed to time it, so the enemy’s attack is negated for the time. Of course if your enemy is good enough you will get hit in the endlag, that is what you’re supposed to do when the opponent has iframes.
And that’s why blocking is nearly always better, blocking has way lower startup, no “travel time” (you can let go instantly) and no endlag whatsoever, you can instantly cast after blocking if you have good enough ping
I’ve had an idea for a while where if aimed upward projectiles get a short immunity window where they cant hit the ground, since high level builds literally cant fire projectiles without being in the air
I fired a flying slash straight up once and it hit the ground BEHIND ME

I always thought it was weird that dodging in AO is just moving, and not really protecting you from anything no matter how well you time it.
