Anyone remember seeing something on the trello along the lines of like “Increased galleons lost on death from 1,000 to 5,000” or something close to that?

Yeah so like beforehand the max you could drop at a time was 1000, even if you had 50,000
What this change did was make you able to lose more at a time

Wait no I misread the question. I believe that change was that you need 5000 galleons to lose some on death rather than 1000, making it a good change.
I believe it was in the balance document but wasn’t actually added to the trello

iirc the only thing vetex did was increase the galleon loss threshold to above 5000
Thats why I don’t carry money or fame on me. Bank it all to an alt and then carry money in potion reagents I can sell.
All my profits up to 1000 are safe plus another 5k in potion plants
