So recently I was thinking about getting a new game on steam, but I can’t decide between hollow knight or a game called space engineers 2, so i thought I’d let the forums decide
- Hollow Knight
- Space engineers 2

Hollow Knight if you’re a metroidvania-loving, wiki-using player. Space Engineers 2 if you’re a creativity-driven, never-bored player.
I would go for SE2 since it’s a more mechanically and creatively interesting game that doesn’t necessitate the filthy usage of a wiki, though most forumers would endorse the former option as they only know of HK.
Truth be told though, both of these games have appeal to two completely different demographics, so it’s unfair to put them against each others.
The result is effectively decided in advance since this forum’s demography is that of a game with little to no technical intriquacies.
do you plan on calling any game that requires a tiny bit of exploration a wiki game
Yeah… because HK and AO totally aren’t reliant on wikis to be played the correct way.
idk man i beated hollow knight blind and i did completely fine, did you bother giving the game a chance or no
Oh yeah also for further reference I played space engineers 1
im confused about this because (while i never beat it because i forgot to take the disc out of my old ps4 and i dont know where that ps4 is anymore ) i never felt like i had to look anything up in hollow knight
hollow knight was a really fun game to explore actually, i dont remember ever feeling totally lost because there was always somewhere i knew i hadnt checked out or gone yet
Space engineers is so goated
What’s a space engineers
Look it up
Nah I don’t really feel like it
Ok so pretty much it’s a space game where you place blocks on a grid system to build spaceships and cars and bases, and you can also put weapons on those too, and it has a survival mode where you gather materials to build your base like uranium or steel plates.
Update: just bought hollow knight, going into lurk mode
Ooh, let us know if you’re enjoying it :]
