Any games like ao on steam, roblox, basically anything. Want to know so that when roblox eventually fucks this game, I can at the very least cry while playing a similar one.
honestly i struggle to think of any, ao is pretty unique

Warframe. Unironically.
It may not seem like it at first but you can draw many parallels between the two: f2p action games that have build customization, story and lore, and lots of grinding and optional side content. Both emphasize movement and using character abilities.

wynncraft, the minecraft mmorpg, maybe. it has story, professions, classes, abilities, an element system, and an ocean
Trove.
Trove is a game that takes a LOT of time to get good at. It has several classes and you can create others to play (with great difficulty). I think it has 5 times more content than Arcane Odyssey. It’s a well-made and stylized blocky game, and the community is generally okay. But the game is going in a bad state. Idk much about it today, so do a research

Raft, Airborne kingdom and Airborn Empire (unfinished), void train, No man’s sky, Bulwark falconer chronicles, Diplomacy is not a option, Everspace 2, 9kings (Unfinished apparently?), Minecraft Iron’s spells mod Java (Create mod is fun too), Drop Duchy, hollowknight and silksong, domekeeper, Satisfactory and mini motorway, mini railway and mini airway.

…taking from a moba game, because im horrible at self-diagosis: “Defensive Support, can buff allies or control enemies, good for large-scaled fights with other teammates, and is usually tanky with high health and defense to take damage for allies”
Mag may be a good early fit. Mag can pull and knock down enemies, restore shields. Not too durable though. Oberon’s harder to get, but has more defense, can buff allied defense, damage and health regeneration, and confuse enemies.
