planned stats are 120 magic 130 weapons, what armor and accessories should i get?

For ash you probably want things like Argos set or Calvus set depending on your playstyle

u want magic size/intensity and power mostly
if size: at least 70
if intensity: 90? ive never used it so go experiment

power u want a bit of cause ash has weak impact
so i recommend hybrid power/def calvus set prob, and argos if u want intensity (i think it gives intensity but idk)

yes argos items give intensity and defense

Best set for you is likely:

  • Powerful Lost Crown of Ravenna
  • Powerful Fair Power / Defense / Intensity Amulet
  • Powerful Ash Arcsphere
  • Powerful Ravenna Fallen King Armor
  • Powerful Ravenna Fallen King Boots

In v1.12, the size of hazards (such as Ash clouds) no longer scale with Intensity, so it’s a waste to invest into it now when it’s getting changed so soon in my opinion.

bah we use intensity for that 60 dot cloud
i didnt even know intensity increased cloud size in the first place lol

Intensity does not affect hazard damage as of yet.

Only size. In v1.12 it will instead affect hazard damage and duration instead.

Can’t wait to have a full intensity kit with ash and cover islands with my 20 hit beam :relaxed:

Does the ash cloud duration reset if you fuel it more or does it just get bigger

Why doesn’t magma set ash on fire? I was under the impression that magma burns hotter than fire. Will this be changed in a future update?

No magics set ash clouds on fire, only poison’s

I’ve seen a plasma user make my ash clouds have massive plasma particles from them and I think it did extra damage from the plasma affect so I assumed fire would do the same

Interesting, never knew ash clouds could be ignited, always thought it was just poison clouds

For context I was farming the evil guy at whitesummit for honor and one of the level 130 guys had plasma and when his plasma blast hit my ash cloud even after he died my ash cloud has massive plasma particles coming from it until it disappeared

Oh you were fighting Merlot, since he uses poison it might be his clouds that got ignited and not yours

I might be wrong though, maybe they really do ignite

I was cheesing him through the wall and the effect looked to be on my clouds but you may be right I’ll have to test it out myself when I can play
