Many glaze him, many slander him. Could He be The Guy? Of course, no one fucking knows because this is confusing as shit.
General Julius owns the Glass curse. Curse users have been said to be much, much stronger than us and at best we’ve been fighting mere corpses using them. But this is interesting, Julian is a general of Ravenna and he listens to the king. So logically he should be weaker…. but not really. If the player is capable of killing King Bumvus, he should be able to kill a mere general. But Vetex’s logic says otherwise.
So I guess you could say that “Oh he was just stronger than Calvus, even as a general” without question and move on. But in these forums slander must persist.
Our first encounter with him is him jumping us, earning him the Sneak Merchant title.
The player before this encounter was on a gauntlet of fighting Argos (Atleast the second strongest general?) and then before they could recover, they were forced to fight Carina (not much stronger but still a threat) and to end it all the player climbed an entire mountain (Actual islands in the lore are much bigger in the game) leaving him EVEN MORE tired.
So this presents a curious narrative, this Bum decided to wait our strength out before engaging. And at that he decided to catch us off guard. Using the excuse of “Oooh I just couldn’t find you” when sensing exists…. He follows up with a cocky “You’re weak as shit”
when knowing that he has just sneak attacked a Half-asleep LOBOTOMIZED TEENAGER. Granting him the title Of The Bummest Of Them All.
This poses a real dilemma to me, because I hate the idea of Morden’s bitchy ass being on par with a far more experienced curse user, but I also hate the idea of Julian being actually strong
There was mention of Ravenna possibly sending help, I hope to God it’s not him. It’s likely that he had zero involvement with the Order but still, I do not wanna die side by side fighting with a Ravennean General.
General Julian arriving to fight side-by-side with the powerful mercenaries empress Nillah told him about and stop Keraxe’s invasion only to see the same group of hobos that killed a bunch of his soldiers and murdered his king 2 weeks ago
I think the entirety of ravenna is just comprised of fraudulent bums
argos doesn’t know how doors work
elius is just a slightly larger than average mosquito (his weapon drops are goated tho)
carina is just argos if he was even weaker, and she doesn’t know how surprise attacks work (literally just hit the person who isn’t paying attention, it’s not hard)
julian can’t even kill a teenager that’s probably closer to death than argos after the ceiling fell on him
calvus didn’t get the memo about multi hit attacks leaving you extremely vulnerable (and lost a race to a base sailboat in the dark sea)
ceasar is too stupid to figure out he’s supposed to be dead and doesn’t know how slopes work.
maybe the only non fraud ravennan is that one guy that blew up the snow people, but he did get caught by the incompetence police so maybe he is a bum as well
One thing to remember is, every ravenna downscale is a winterveil downscale. And every winterveil downscale is a Skyhall downscale (If the rumors are true). A truly Divine Triangle Of Bums
(btw we should probably mention that, holy fuck winterveil and skyhall are technically bums too!)
“Lend me your greatest power, Apocalypse Bringer curse! This is unarmed magicless civilians we’re up against!”
Also we technically don’t know that but it was probably Ravenna that raided Skyhall and pinned the blame on Winterveilians. I mean, general Zaix had the Wave curse until Avery Walker mopped the floor with him, and we all know where the Glass curse is.
Is the age of Tiwaz (Frostmetal Curse user) The Son Of Wotan confirmed? If he’s anywhere in the teenage years then we have one hell of a friend to help us out.
“Empress Nila…how old Is Tiwaz exactly?”
“Oh he’s around his Prime Years currently, he has trained the hardest out of all of Wotan’s sons. He’s around….20 or so….”
tbf morden has one of the strongest curses in existence while julian is among the weaker ones (since glass was “weak/simple” enough to eventually become a base magic any mage can be born with), its just a matter of whether morden can actually land a hit on julian tbh
how about dying fighting side by side with a friend? who knows, maybe getting his ass beaten by morden makes him realize how much of a waste serving ravenna is (their bum ass king got washed by a hobo and the prince aint doing shit) and decides to join us
6000 health and over 600 damage per attack. Presumably julian is weaker than both of these because obviously the death curse would do more damage and also glass is really fragile so it wouldn’t make him more tanky.
It’s a bit higher than what we are capable of right now but still pretty manageable.
