I got no clue, but I think it has to do with fame and/or power. With more fame, the more likely you are to have a bigger ego and less moral standing, which consequentially leads to a talented person wanting to manipulate someone for their own gain.
There is a reason why so few famous people are humble (and the few that might be are also as likely to fake it as a public image). Power corrupts basically anyone
