I dont get the ghost ship mechanic. I was intrested in them cos i didnt know what they did so i went to check the trello and it says that they lead you to their sunken treasure.
The thing is tho like most of the time i see short arcane oddysey videos, most youtubers avoid them?

the ghost ship idea on the trello is different from the ghost ships you find in the dark sea. the ghost ships on the trello are ones that would spawn in the main sea (bronze, nimbus, etc) and would lead you to treasure, but they aren’t currently in the game yet. the ships you find in the dark sea just lead you to a lost cargo crate, so people don’t care much about them

it’s a future feature, things that have been finished will have the finished tag on their page
Look into ghost ships in Arcane Adventures, you’ll understand more.

This is a feature from back in AA where ghost ships would appear in the seas and go to their wreckage, basically at night, a ghost ship can spawn and it’ll be a special one (not like the dark sea ones), and will follow a path until it reaches its wreckage site where you can collect the rewards, for a better explanation, check the Arcane Reborn page regarding ghost ships
