I’m doing the giant banana quest on Shell Island, and I can not for the life of me find a giant banana. I have been searching for 45 minutes, and found one banana at the very start. So, can anyone tell me what the spawn rate of these things are so I can know exactly how doomed I am? Also, are there any islands with a greater spawn rate than Shell Island?
Edit: GUYS I DID IT I DID THE QUEST AND GOT THE STUPID GIANT BANANAS!
I don’t know the spawn rate of them sadly, but shell probably hit the limit of spawned items, so try to pick up everything you see so more items can spawn. Also check in the bushes, sometimes they fall in there
Use revealing potions made from growth sap (break trees for it)
Also, giant bananas only grow on shell
Did you look on the tops of all the Spires on Shell?
They spawn there as well, and it’s usually where i go once i searched the main island and haven’t found all 5 yet.
They only spawn on Shell Island, and like most fruits, they drop very slowly, which you only notice when you need them.
go to the lowest age server you can find, pretty much everything handled on the server (fruits, ships, weather events, etc) gets slower the older a server is
that banana quest is so stupid, either the banana spawn rate needs to be increased or the requirement for how much you need should go down .
if youre desperate just constantly rejoin servers and go to shell island in every one. the bananas take a very long time to respawn
