In this case, minority could’ve been a description that the forum is a minority of the palyerbase in the sense than it’s a type of player wich is the minority, wich isn’t the case, the forums are quite representative of the playerbase, since there’s every type of player really.

I read the whole thread, and now ill just give my personal opinion about 2 things.
- What i think about content creaters and what they should be entitled to
- Why the thread was in large part (in my opinion) derailed

I’ve watched maybe 1 or maybe 2 videos from content creaters in AO, those that mean i find AO creaters to be irrelevant, no, but those that mean i see the lack of importance they have to a large player base, yes. The problem that i think there is with most content creaters for AO, is that the niche they can fill are quite limited. There exissts a server named “The gallon” which fulfills the economic side of the game. There exsists a server for balancing, and there exsists a generel discord server for AO. Why do i point this out, well its quite simple.
“The biggest strenght of content creaters, is the information they can provide”, but AO is different, cause many discord servers are filled with people, connected to mods and testers (or friends of them) which can provide the crucial information. Other games don’t have this stable source of information, so they resort to content creaters, but AO is not the same, since the puplic fulfills the nessity to a large degree. This is even without talking about how simple the game is, the trello that lists development and the ability to send messages ingame server wide.
Now this is long, but to sum up. Content creaters are not better at providing information than the general puplic sources. -
To my 2nd point ill be much shorter, also cause writing all this is quite something. The most important thing to learn to keep in check in the internet, is always ego, no matter the reason, no matter the cause, if you think you are better, more entitled or more contributing, just remember someone (since the internet is worldwide and puplic, so to speak) will always both now and argue better.
You should have called the end of the battle, to come up with a larger thread explaining your complete thought. Would they still be attacked, yes most likely, but atleast it would show what you mean collectively, and not how (as most of us do) you think in the moment. And when you are than commented on how wrong you are, just let it be. Not all discussions are valuable or worthwile, always remember that.

I dunno man AO is pretty laggy rn and I think tryna host any large scale event is a bad idea. (Trust me, I’ve been in large groups, framerates plummet whenever I or someone near me uses a really large attack

The crux of the problem is that you, and by extension content creators want access to Elysium, for the purposes of hosting events. While this is perfectly fine and reasonable, the way you presented it was not.
First, you stated that content creators want access to Elysium. However, the way you worded it implies that Content creators are better than everyone else, which caused a lot of players to become mad.
Second, you also asked for a Youtuber title ingame, which at this point is just adding oil the the fire.
Tldr: everyone will have to wait for elysium
