How about, when you put healing on a sword, it no longer does damage and only does healing, the healing is equivalent to 40% the base damage the sword does when using a move, or make it so that when positive grease is applied, erase all of the weapons’ moves and replace it with a move called bestow, this plays an animation of the user holding out the weapon and giving the status effect to the target and the effect’s lasting time is based on the amount of reagent you’ve used. The cooldown would also be based on the amount of reagents you’ve used (10 = 1 minute, 5 = 30 seconds)
In my opinion, you’re trying too hard to overcomplicate & add caveats and use cases to a system where it isn’t necessary; there’s detriment to only applying negative effects on grease. If you want to inflict positive effects, you can use a gel or blood disease.
Is it really over complicated when its just replacing the damage with the positive effect and having longer cooldowns? “If you want to inflict negative effects, you can use a gel or blood disease.”
Anyways, blood diseases can give yourself positives now so I am saved
yeah but healing got absolutely wrecked, so you’d prob be healing people like 10 hp every 5 seconds at most
guys hear me out Love Grease/Blood Poisoning in pvp

Well they are probs gonna add healing spells so I don’t think healing greases is out of the question but then again weapon skills for healing will probably be done by instruments
