So I’ve been running a dnd campaign for some friends since January and they just finished the first major ‘arc’ of the campaign, and are now in one of the biggest and most important cities in the world.
Naturally, a city as big as this would probably get a lot of people visiting it for a variety of reasons. The problem is I haven’t come up with nearly enough unique characters to really convey that feeling, and so I decided that the best way to get new characters instead of making them up on the spot or getting random inspiration from whatever I’m watching/playing at the moment is to ask the forums for help
Grackle: a kenku college of lore bard. He uses his ability to perfectly recreate sounds he’s heard, and illusion magic to show and tell stories that he’s heard to people. He also stores his stuff in his oversized wizard hat of holding.
Titanicon: a 10-foot tall metal humanoid from another planet. They possess the ability to integrate any form of “technology” into part of their body. Technology in this case meaning simple things like axes, swords and armor, more complicated things like clocks and firearms, and magical objects like arcane focuses and the sort of enchanted objects that an artificer would make. (Overall this character was my attempt at making a legally-distinct transformer which could fit into a DND campaign.)
If I think of any more characters, I’ll tell you. And if you have any questions about these two characters, feel free to ask me.
the second one actually works really well for the area they’re in they’ll definitely run into that one, they’ll probably see the kenku too cause I like the idea
Max “god fucking damn it that stupid ass horse where the FUCK am I??” Pravilna
probably has to set up a PI office to pay the bills while he tries to figure out how to actually get back because of that dumbass fucking horse getting it wrong AGAIN.
My main DnD Character is Albadeer Cohaul, a half-elf Druken Master Monk. He tends to go by Al and has knack for finding local taverns and bars. Prior to the campaign he was a part of he mostly wandered around. He also despises people who practice magic due a traumatic childhood experience with a cult of sinister warlocks.
I got another one: A human warrior named Erdack. His armor and weapons are a living being. They work together to protect people. (Basically Venom but in DND).
