If you haven’t read the title, my idea for a new possible magic in arcane odyssey will be glacial (or iceberg) magic. This will be a suggestion for a lost magic, making that clear now.
STATISTICS:
Power: 1.2 (strong)
Speed: 0.55 (sluggish)
Size: 1.3 (massive, like the glaciers it’s based off of
Destruction power: 1.2 (destructive)
Structure destruction: 1.2
Status inflicted: chilled
-Slows targets by 10% and increases stamina used, via sprint and high jump.
Appearance (blast, sphere explosion, high jump and magic icon):
I got the idea for the blast off of this specific projectile from pvz 2, it’s fired from primal peashooters at level 4+:
Sound effects I imagine would be like sounds of ice breaking off of glaciers or getting destroyed, possibly even avalanches if you wanted.
Magic exclusive spell names:
-Iceberg
-glacier
-icecap
-glacial
-avalanche
-freezing
-subzero
-pretty much any name for ice, as they’re both similar magics.
Clashes
Beats: fire, ice, mainly any powder or gas magic and energy (minus explosion and lightning), glass and wood magic
ties: N/A
Loses to: Metal magic, earth magic, lightning and explosion magic, crystal magic, magma magic
Synergy:
-Freezes when an enemy is soaked, possibly snowy too. Does 15% more damage when freezing enemies.
-Being a heavy magic, it can also ideally break the ice it creates, doing +60% dmg when hitting a frozen entity.
-does 20% more damage to bleeding targets.
-5% more damage on corroding targets.
-Does 10% less damage when the enemy is burning or scorched.
-20% less damage when the enemy is melting or charred.
- does 50% less damage on petrified targets.
Well that’s my ideas for a new (cold) lost magic in arcane odyssey.
