Just switched to warrior after 2 years and wonder what are good weapons for it

Well, first, there is the old reliable Atlantean Greatsword. But, if you want a greataxe because they’re cooler, then no problem - Shadow Ravens’ leader has Ravenwing as one of his drops. Don’t bother with the Vindicator, greathammers got a really short end of the stick when it comes to skill notes compatibility. But, you can still yoink Crushing Judgement off of one and apply it to a different heavy weapon.
If you want a polearm and don’t want to sell your liver for a sunken staff, there is a very good one: Skyhall Captain’s spear. Can only be bought in Ivoris for silver, it has lower skill reqs than other spears of its quality. There are also Lord Elius’s weapons, but I like the appearance of Skyhall’s spear more, and for a warrior, the appearance is all that matters, you got all the stat points you need.
If you want a gun, raid some Swiftstrider towers, they got their flintlocks as drops, and the boss can award you Swiftshot the musket. Or, just farm Maria for her Plunderers.
For normal swords, you got a lot of options. Sunken sword is the obvious one, but there are also things like Khepri, a golden weapon of Commander Hathor, the boss of Fort Montu. She also drops Atum the mace, but if you want a blunt weapon, then King Caesar’s Fulmenor is a better pick due to its unique skill.
Speaking of unique skills, here’s the sad part. Have you already fought Jarl Ivar? The most unfun, unfair and overall worst boss of the game? With the smallest possible arena? And 1/7 drop chance with 6 different items? Yeah, that one has Siderros, dual axes that function the same as dual swords, but have a unique skill that you can apply to any melee weapon. Roar of Glory, it damages and knocks back everyone around you, destroys projectiles, and buffs you on top of that. Why, Vetex[1]?
Daggers got the short end of the stick too, and aren’t that interesting. But, there is one notable exception: the Crone’s Shadow Daggers. A dual-wielded weapon that has both dagger’s and dual swords’ skills, with a few exceptions, ofc. Highly recommend getting this one.
Nerf pls. Just make his arena bigger, blow a hole in the Fenrir’s rear or something, and give this annoying ahh boss actual cooldowns, he spams his 700 dmg aoe way too often ↩︎
pretty sure the noble thunderspear is a direct upgrade to the skyhall captain spear bc it has like a 0.05 higher attack damage multiplier
It is a direct upgrade due to its skill reqs being 20 points lower. But it looks way less cool than Skyhall’s
honestly, i do think the noble thunderspear looks cooler lol, plus it probably depends on your outfit
No? It’s a direct upgrade because it’s stats are slightly better
Siren bow tempered is cool (not good anymore, but cool)
I can’t bring myself to stop thinking about those two from a weapon hybrid’s perspective, since I main Knight. And these two spears in particular have got on my nerves, since I really want to use the cooler-looking Skyhall Captain’s spear, but am forced to use Noble’s, due to me only having 190 wep points
