Yeah itās why most people donāt like the electoral college. Someone can win the popular vote but they could still lose the election to someone based off the electoral college.
Not to mention most of the system itself was being held up by people acting in good faith for the most part, and thereās not always laws in place in some states requiring the people in the electoral college to vote accordingly to the populous vote in the state.
Thatās a pretty flawed system, but ig itās a fundamental part of the election process in the US, and likely canāt be changed easily.
It will depending on whether or not the policies let chemical companies dump into your drinking water.
