Grand Navy Bounty Service
Head Office
The Lord’s Regime, Grand Navy Flagship
Commanding Officer: Rear Admiral Fate,
Under the Office of Admiralty and
the King Admiral Robin Adkins
With assistance from,
Vice Admiral Taurus, Office of the Grand Navy Ranks
Statement Notes
With the recent retrieval of the Sound Curse, we are confident that the Overseer, identified as Overseer Solgaard [194,230,421 Galleons] has left Makrinaos. Despite this, we have identified an increased number of criminals attempting to head to the island. A blockade was suggested but we have yet to receive a reply from Rear Admiral Amelia on whether that will be possible. This report details the procedures we are taking to prepare for this action, or further actions. Admirals are ready for an assault if need be.
Metaforéas
Unfortunately, the Assassins Syndicate is angry at the recent loss of their Metaforéas and the Sound Curse. We believe that they are attempting to buy more off of a dealer in the Ryujin Dynasty. We do not think they have any Curse to transport at this current point. A raid has been suggested, and although Vice Admiral Locke is tentative about encountering Metaforéas again, Admiral Verdi and Torres have brought forth a suggestion of a second promotion, both due to Admiral Otori’s recent retirement and the value that the Sound Curse will provide to the navy as a whole.
He has accepted the mission.
Issues at Shieldguard
The Warden of Shieldguard has not responded to any contact attempts in recent days. We are concerned, but her subordinates say that she is only ill with a minor ailment. A Paratiritis and Commodore Viern of the Lord’s Regime have been dispatched. We are prepared for most circumstances, whether a myaloktónos outbreak or an assassination.
Bounties Issued
Paratiritis in the Vimir Sea have identified multiple pirate groups attempt to gain power due to the Keraxe-Sameria war. Bounties have been issued to multiple individuals. These are the major cases.
John Brutus, Pirate Captain [200,000]
Abelard Crest, Fugitive [250,000]
Major Marble, Pirate Quartermaster [170,000]
Arthur Spice, Criminal [100,000]
Architect Echo, Assassin [20]
Context
(A few of my personal fan-ideas)
Metaforéas: “Curse Couriers”
Prisoners or slaves who have had their eyes removed and are secured with high grade Devourer Metal handcuffs, used in large groups to transport Curses. The idea is that an enemy wouldn’t want to risk harming the prisoners and losing the Curse, and as devourers are rare, they wouldn’t risk destroying the blade without identifying the Curse carrying one.
Myaloktónos:
A deadly disease which attacks Spirit Energy. Very deadly for magic users.
Paratiritis: “Observer”
Oracles trained in identifying people via Spirit Weapons. Used by the Grand Navy to help issue bounties and for other purposes.
Admiral Stanford Locke, The Silent
Flagship: The Silence of the War Seas
Recently promoted Admiral of the Grand Navy. Armed with a revolver loaded with Arcanium Bullets and the Sound Curse
Admiral Aira Verdi, The Navy’s Wind
Flagship: The Galeward
The Grand Navy’s most skilled Admiral, armed with the Wind Curse. She is only used in the most treacherous situations where Sea Curses are on the line.
Admiral Palomedes Torres, The Titan
Flagship: Oceanus
Part Vastus, Part Legend. Palomedes Torres is a fourteen foot tall beast supporting the headquarters of the Grand Navy. Despite his intimidating size, he cannot use magic and does not own a Sea Curse, hence his oftentimes more administrative role.
Retired Admiral Otori, The Sage
Descendent of the Goddess Eirene, Admiral Otori was a powerful Oracle who could manipulate Spirit Energy without a weapon. Due to his skill, he was prized as a fighter before his retirement in 1854.
The King Admiral Robin Adkins
Wieder of the Phlegethon Curse, Robin Adkins is the mysterious King Admiral of the Grand Navy. Not much is known about him.
The Phlegethron Curse:
Concept for a Grand Fire Curse. Creates a blazing orange burning liquid which sticks to your souls. Yes. It’s a napalm curse.
