Phantom-like, translucent ships that rarely spawn at night. Sailing close to them will cause them to unfurl their sails, and start sailing towards the place they sunk. If you follow it to its shipwreck, lots of loot will be found such as Sealed Chests, ghost ship items, ghostly ship parts, and more.

NPC Ships info:

Spawn randomly, AI calculated by the server. These can rarely be members of well known pirate groups, and contain random pirate NPCs that can be fought.

Once all NPCs on board are defeated, Sealed Chests will spawn on the deck. The amount spawned will depend on the ship’s “difficulty”, and how much damage the crew took relative to the ship. (To prevent players from just jumping on a full HP ship and killing the crew for easy loot)
