What about something like a big guild battle?

with like a top view of the volcano and them fighting over that volcano or something
I feel like for convenience you may want to try some people standing next to each other somewhat like tongs idea. I feel like that would keep it simple enough while providing the basic idea of a guilds update. If the goal is to catch other people and convince them to play you could attempt to make something dramatic like what other people are saying. A more dramatic title could drastically shift the audience you’re targeting, however, so maybe it’s worth a shot? These are just observations of what I’ve seen so far.
Make the most popular guild be in the thumbnail. Noble for example. It’s pretty much what they earn for getting it that far plus they’re related to guilds.

I find this to be a bad idea. It kinda seems to give off the aura of immense superiority of that guild over all other guilds since they appear to be on the thumbnail of the game. It would be better to show an example of a guild than to show directly a guild

Well depends on how the guild featured is expressed. If they are expressed as a guild that’s very strong, it would give off that aura but if they are expressed as a guild that has a guild owner capable of leading them, it would give off an aura of a proper role model for every guild.
The most popular guild is pretty much a role model of every guild since they didn’t go to such feat without hardwork. Pretty much similar to how students in Class A becomes a role model of what a student should be.
Although this is just an idea, if it’s criticized as bad, i’m fine with that.

That kinda gives off a vibe that the Guild Update would cause chaos to the game.
